Refashionized Webinar – Learning Resources to Change the Game

On 18 September 2025, Myrto-Helena Pertsinidi & Maria-Francesca Mele from JKPeV hosted a successful and engaging online webinar within the framework of the Refashionized project. It was inspiring to see how fashion continues to spark interest and connect people across borders.

The session highlighted how fashion is inseparable from humanity — the history of fashion is the history of people. Participants reflected on the evolution of fashion, discussed today’s pressing sustainability challenges (fast vs. slow fashion), and explored ways to contribute to a more sustainable future.

An interactive activity encouraged participants to share insights on different fashion eras, demonstrating how the past can inspire positive change. The webinar also introduced the wide range of Refashionized resources designed to educate, engage, and empower learners:

  • Online Course – Discover key eras of fashion history and their links to society, human rights, the global economy, and the environment.
  • Sustainable Fashion  Game – Test your knowledge about textiles, clothing production, and the impact of fashion.
  • Sustainability Glossary & Activities – Understand essential concepts on sustainable fashion through engaging and interactive activities
  • Upcycling Videos – Get creative with 10 short tutorials on giving new life to old fabrics
  • Fashion Portfolio Guidebook – Practical tips and tools to design a portfolio that showcases both creativity and commitment to sustainability.

We are committed to ensuring that Refashionized and its resources have a lasting impact. The energy of this webinar will continue to inspire people beyond borders and empower trainers and learners to take meaningful action toward a more sustainable fashion industry.
